Band Camp Departure Info
Leaving:
We will be reporting to the High School parking lot at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 22, 2024.
Please do NOT park in the curved bus drop-off lane.
After loading the buses and receiving final instructions, we will depart Wilmington at 7:30 a.m.
Returning:
We will be returning to Wilmington at approximately 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, Aug 22, 2024.
Parents should ask their band camp student to text them as they get closer to WHS and plan to meet students at this time at the St. Thomas Church parking lot.
Last minute reminders:
DO NOT PACK Med Form and Contract in suitcase.
If you have not already mailed them to us, these forms will be collected before you board buses.
Please check packing list again to be sure you have packed everything on the required list.
Pack the baseball hat. You’ll need it. Pack the raincoat. If it rains you’ll need it. We do work outside, even when it rains, and marching is miserable when you’re soaking wet. By the way, a real raincoat is something that keeps you dry...not just a jacket you don’t mind getting wet.
When you pack snacks, remember that chewing gum is not allowed anywhere at camp. So...Do NOT bring gum.
