Wildcat Band Crew
Middle School Band Members in grades 6-8 are eligible to join the Wilmington High School Marching Band Crew.
The Crew assists in the handling of all equipment (jackets, props, flags, podium, repair kit, etc.) for the band at all football games. Crew members provide an invaluable service to the band. In return, they gain free admission to all football games, free transportation to games aboard the band busses, and the opportunity to share in the “team effort” associated with high school marching band performance. This opportunity is offered to Middle School Band members only. Students will be one of eight other Crew members of the same age who will be closely supervised by adult high school band staff.
Attendance at all games is essential as it is difficult to obtain and train replacements on short notice.
A schedule of our performances for the season will be listed below for 2022-2023 season. Your participation at the Thanksgiving Game is also required - we are usually done with the game by 12:30 PM on Thanksgiving.

Crew members should wear comfortable clothes. We provide crew baseball hats and crew windbreakers. As the weather gets colder, crew members will need to dress in warm layers under the wind breaker. We allow students to go to the concession stand during 3rd quarter. Students wishing to purchase snacks, should bring money with them to each game.
